Will someone explain to me what the fuck I just watched?

So the whole point of those 5 episodes was just to fuck Jack over? It's not enough for him to lose Ianto oh no, he's gotta sacrifice his grandson too (using a logic similar to what he used way back in Small Worlds). Gwen's right about the Doctor I think. And I hope to fuck that chick doesn't get to be PM. At least Lois is free and Bridget and Frobisher saw sense. I loved how Andy took a stand too. It seems even Johnson hated what they were doing, which is at elast something.

Before this started I was really hoping for a series 4. I was looking forward to another 13 episodes of Jack/Ianto and other goodness but now.... Well, like Mikey said, they've ruined it. These last episodes have been what you'd expect if a show was being axed. It's likely we'll only see Jack again in Doctor Who and probably Torchwood won't come back unless something happens at the rift in the show (or the world gets taken again). Days 1-3 were good, really good but the last two just... destroyed it.

Today's been boring other then that. I may return to writing later and should be on Wii soon. I finally saw a genie in AC.

Swine flu is here in the local schools. Worst is one that's only a stone's throw from nan's care home. That worries me more then anything. It seems to only kill the weakest that contract it and, well, she's weak anyway.

Me too.

*nods a little*

I don't mind when shows kill characters off (ok it makes me sad and all but...) but this series we only started off with three characters to begin with, then you kill one off and you've left with two. While most series do kill of 4 (or more) characters I've never seen so many killed so close together (appart from maybe a series finale). And yeah, I think Ianto didn't get enough time of his own in series 1 and 2 and I hoped in 4 he'd get a lot more to do with the reduced line-up and all but now... I loved Tosh too and I was sad by her sudden death but at least hers had a meaning where as Ianto's... didn't really.

If he did then that means series 4 (if it happened) would just start off with Gwen being the only Torchwood member left. So that means that most of the 4th series would be dealing with whichever new people they bought in. Even if existing characters joined the team (Andy, Rhys, Lois, Martha etc) you'd still need an episode for each one to get more invested in them and learn more about them and that would take up, like, the first half of the series. And I have a feeling they'd put someone new in as well.

Anyway... yeah, I've sorta rambled a little haven't I? Oopsie.

But again, it all stemmed down to the fact that Jack was responsible for it. Probably in less of a way than he was with Tosh's, but he was still responsible. Although he seems to be becoming more like the Doctor now, which I am not sure that I like.

If they do do a series four, then I have no idea where they would go with it, really. But it could be cool. I guess I am just more for shakeups than most people.

Haha! No, not at all! It's good to debate like this. That's what the best episodes do to people! :D

Yeah. I don't like that they essentially destoyed all Jack had. Why can't one series of Doctor Who/Torchwood end on a happy note?

Maybe. I think it's just been too drastic.

It is? Yay!
