(Also she doesn't seem to realise that it's more then one thing about her that bothers me, instead she focusses on one.) Date: 2006-12-18 09:41 pm (UTC)I met someone early this year, who I am now going out with. I met this person in a place that, if all had gone to plan that day, I should not have been. It got me thinking about fate. I've never believed in fate, but meeting this person got me questioning that belief.
This summer, I met someone famous whom I have more than just a slight liking for. It was pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity that I never thought would happen. Again, I began thinking about fate and, probably more accurately in this case, events that would not have happened without previous events leading to them.
Hopefully I'm making sense. Long story short, if I had not met you, I would not have met this second person. Although you didn't have a direct impact on this particular event, meeting you led to something, which led to something else, which led to something else. One of these somethings else was me meeting someone else who has become an incredible friend to me.
Enough of me going on. I've contemplated leaving this comment to you for a few weeks now, but always thought it best to just leave it alone. Basically I just wanted to say thank you, for reasons you may or may not be able to figure out. I still think of you sometimes and I hope you're doing ok and taking care of yourself.
