I watched the water boil absently, inhaling the scent coming from the oven. I'd planned this so long ago. The night I came home early and caught him in bed with someone else. Not just someone else, a girl. A fucking girl. Fucking bastard. She'd ran before I could find out who she was and he didn't seem to remember her name.
So I'd planned my revenge.
I hummed softly to myself, tipping the water into a mug, then turning my gaze from the water to the oven. I smiled at the meat cooking inside it. I'd got my revenge.
